Digital Storm is having a contest giving away a decent gaming laptop so I thought I’d share it..
If you’ve got an old gaming PC that moves slower than Grandma and has more scratches than a DJ’s record collection, Digital Storm is offering PC gamers a chance to throw out their throwback laptop and win a brand new Digital Storm Krypton gaming laptop (valued at $1,478), with its Retro Gaming Laptop contest.
To enter, simply take a photo of your old clunker and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #DSThrowbackContest. Then, fill out the form here and let us know where you’ve posted your photo. All photos must be received by April 30, 2014.
The contest coincides with Digital Storm’s refresh of its gaming laptops line, featuring the new NVIDIA GTX 800M series of graphics cards.
Your old gaming laptop: it’s got more scratches than an antique vinyl record collection and has seen more duct tape than Reservoir Dogs. You affectionately refer to it as “Old Yeller” for both the way its fan makes loud noises when you try to play a game and the fact that it needs to be put out of its misery.
Digital Storm is here to offer PC gamers a chance to toss out their throwback laptop and win a brand new Digital Storm Krypton gaming laptop (valued at $1,478). From those photos submitted, we’ll choose the best (read: worst) photo of the most broke-down, dilapidated, decrepit, no-account (you get the picture) laptop to determine a winner. We’ll announce the winner on May 1, 2014 on this page.
