The Review:

Let’s start off with a video unboxing and then move on:

The OmeGod SLR cup comes in a nice looking box and it’s packaged well. Inside you’ll find the cup wrapped in plastic, a rubber bonus bracelet and even a nylon drawstring style carrying bag so you can take the cup with you and protect it. I’m not sure about using the bag for the cup but I’m sure I can find another use for it.

My favorite part is this cup is the lid, it’s see-through and it looks like a lens really. You can see what’s in the cup and you can really see how much you have left. Heavier cups like these can be hard to really gauge by feel how much is left in them until you’ve had them for a while, but this lid let’s you see how much you’ve got left in there. The lid does have a rubber ring on the underside to make sure it seals tight against the cup.

The inside of the cup is stainless steel making it easier to clean and it shouldn’t stain either.

On the sides are two ribbed rubber rings for grip, they do come off to clean the cup more thoroughly if need be. The cup really does look like a camera lens but nothing actually moves. The switches etc look like they should move and I actually tried to move them, but they don’t. All in all it does look real. It’s about 5 1/2 inches tall with the lid on and about 3 1/4 inches across.

The base is thinner than the rest of the cup and it’s not non-slip, but I’m not sure it’s that much of an issue though. I’ve had no problems with it.

I’ve bought many coffee cups over the years and I’ve thrown the majority of them in the garbage because they don’t actually seal. I’m not talking about the cup and the lid, what I mean is between the inside liner and the outside of the cup doesn’t seal correctly. I wash the cups and there’s water between there and that’s not good in my opinion. I have not had this problem with this cup though, it seems to have a very good seal between the liner and the outer shell.

It’s a great cup, it doesn’t leak and it seems to keep my coffee warm for as long as my other cups do.

Pros:

+Looks real

+See through lid

+Well made

+Inexpensive

Cons:

-None really
