Quote: "When you get a new phone you need a case for it, at least I do, my phones and other devices must be in cases and have screen protectors on them. They cost quite a bit of money so why not protect them? I prefer more of a rugged style case for my phones but I don’t want something that adds a lot of bulk either. Today for review I have the Aegis case from Trident that offers a great deal of protection but yet doesn’t add much bulk to the svelte HTC One. The Aegis case offers two layer of protection, an inner silicone or rubber layer and then a hard outer shell and when combines they offer a great deal of protection for the phone inside from the rigors of daily life. So read on to learn about one of the best cases out there for the HTC One… "

Incipio Feather Case for HTC One Review

Hmm.. I posted these a few days ago, looks like I forgot to post about it here….

Quote: " Since the HTC One has come out I’ve got my hands on many, many cases for it and I’ve found not all are created equal. I think a lot of what you want in a case depends on your own personal preferences really. I like a case to protect my phone but I don’t want something that overly large that makes my phone look huge. I want a case that not only protects but allows access to everything the phone can do like it’s buttons and ports and cameras etc. Today for review I’ve got the Incipio Feather case for the HTC One and like it’s name suggests it’s a very lightweight case that doesn’t add any bulk or weight to your phone but at that same time it does offer a good amount of protection. The Feather case is the first of its type that I’ve come across that actually allows access to the sim card slot while your phone is in the case. This may not be important to many people but I sometimes get phones for review and not having to take the case off to switch sims is something that I can appreciate. So read on to learn more about a case that offers decent protection without adding a lot of bulk to the HTC One…."

OtterBox Commuter Series Glacier Case for HTC One Review

Yep another new review by me…

Quote: “Today for review I have what I consider one of, if not, the best HTC One cases on the market today, the OtterBox Commuter series. This has become my favorite case and I’ve tested a lot of them. Yes I reviewed the Otterbox Defender series case for the HTC One little bit ago but while that’s a great case it’s just a little too bulky for my tastes. The Commuter series case on the other hand offers a similar level of protection but without all of the bulk. The Commuter series case is sleek and rather thin really so you don’t lose the svelte profile of the HTC One but yet it still protects it. This case includes covers for the microUSB and audio ports which I think is important as it keeps the dirt, dust and anything else out of them. The case comes in two parts, a soft silicone padded inner case and a hard outer shell and when combined offer excellent protection to absorb shocks and impacts and really protect the HTC One. Out of all the cases I have for the HTC One the OtterBox Commuter Series is the one that I always come back to. So read on…”

What’s Wrong with the Xbox One?

Xbox_One_Logo

I just posted an article over on TestFreaks about the things wrong with the Xbox One… stop by and give it a read when you get a chance..

"So what’s wrong with the Xbox One? Too many things at this point it seems. In the past day or so we’ve learned a lot about the Xbox One and then we really didn’t learn that much did we? It seems like we did, but watching that broadcast it seemed all smoke and mirrors to me with Microsoft leaving out a lot of things that I think most gamers are concerned with. Many issues were not addressed and when Microsoft was asked about them they provided vague answers that really weren’t answers at all. From what I saw most of their answers were basically no comment on a lot of things that are important to their customers.  We’ve had a lot of media attention in the preceding months, a  lot of speculation and a lot of people just talking about the next Xbox. People have made it clear what they wanted and didn’t want and what they expected from the next Xbox and it seems to me Microsoft just ignored  everything that was said everywhere. "

Seidio Active Case Combo for HTC One Review

Yep a new review by me!

Link: http://blog.testfreaks.com/review/review-of-seidio-active-case-combo-for-htc-one/

Quote: "The HTC One is a remarkable phone, it’s a nicely made device, just gorgeous really, but it’s thin and I think it’s rather fragile. I know I wouldn’t want to drop it from any height at all without fear of damage. Such a nice looking device as the HTC One needs to be protected, the phone just looks very nice and it would be a shame for anything to damage those great looks so this is certainly one phone that needs a rugged and durable case to protect it to keep it looking so good. One such case is what I have for review today from Seidio, the case is the Active and what I have is actually the combination set which actually includes the case and a handy holster so it will always be handy right on your hip. The case itself is two parts, an inner soft rubber layer and an outer hard plastic layer which together provide excellent protection for the phone inside. The case also has a built-in metal kickstand so you can set the phone up and view it easily and comfortably. The second part of the set is the holster which is made from hard plastic, it features a spring lock to hold the phone in place no matter what you’re doing. The case does have one small flaw though, read on to learn more…. "
