cellphone

So are those cellphone and gadget buy back sites worth it? Short answer is no. Long answer is no. It’s just no overall.

The idea for this little article popped into my head because of a persistent marketer. I got an email from a guy representing a company I won’t name, but it’s one of those cellphone and gadget buy back site where you can sell your old cellphone and other electronics for cash.

Yep another new review by me…

Quote: “Today for review I have what I consider one of, if not, the best HTC One cases on the market today, the OtterBox Commuter series. This has become my favorite case and I’ve tested a lot of them. Yes I reviewed the Otterbox Defender series case for the HTC One little bit ago but while that’s a great case it’s just a little too bulky for my tastes. The Commuter series case on the other hand offers a similar level of protection but without all of the bulk. The Commuter series case is sleek and rather thin really so you don’t lose the svelte profile of the HTC One but yet it still protects it. This case includes covers for the microUSB and audio ports which I think is important as it keeps the dirt, dust and anything else out of them. The case comes in two parts, a soft silicone padded inner case and a hard outer shell and when combined offer excellent protection to absorb shocks and impacts and really protect the HTC One. Out of all the cases I have for the HTC One the OtterBox Commuter Series is the one that I always come back to. So read on…”

Here’s another one, I got this call last night on my cell phone which really pisses me off as my cell is not listed anywhere publically.

It’s apparently some legal company or whatever after people who took whatever drug and hoping to get you as a client.

Just go away please…

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any of these, I still get them and they annoy me but there’s just too many of them.

We’re on the federal and state do not call lists and it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

This number, 1-323-989-0990, has called many times and hung up on my answering machine. last night about 9pm they called and I answered it. They said my wife signed up for education information to go back to school. Not true, she’s a registered nurse who just graduated about 2 yrs ago. I asked to be removed from their list and the lady was rude and said she was not in the United States so they didn’t have to follow the do not call list.

It’s funny because I looked up the number and it says Los Angeles California is where it’s from. It’s also funny that the lady, who claimed to not be in the United States, spoke perfect English, no accent or nothing so it’s hard to believe she was not in the USA, but of course it is possible.

The best part is that she said she wouldn’t remove me from the list because it didn’t apply to her company. That’s the first time I’ve been flat refused before. It’s funny.

Oh well.. they can all die as far as I’m concerned, I’m sick of all the calls and hang ups on my machine.

"Our cellphones have become much more than something just to talk to people with, they’ve become a source of information and entertainment. Having your phone on your desk is nice, but having it visible in a dock say is even nicer. You can charge and sync and see what’s going on or use it to watch a movie or listen to music while you work. The HTC Titan is a big phone and it’s a nice phone, the display is great for watching Netflix or other media but doing these things drains the battery. If you’re going to be using it at your desk you could get a dock like the one I have for review today that will prop your phone up at an angle, charge it and let you sync as well. The product is from our friends and Mobile Fun and it’s aptly named the Desk Dock for HTC Titan. So read on to learn more…  "
