Review of LON Bluetooth Portable Speaker

lonbt6
Up for review today I have what’s aptly named the Little Speaker, it’s from a company called Lon who is based in Colorado. The speaker is tiny at only 2”x2” and it weighs in at a little under 3 ounces but don’t let the small size full you as it can get much louder then speakers that are 2-3 times its size. The speaker has clear sound and it’s very simple to use, so read on to learn more…

Review of Aennon Multi-Function LED Headlamp For Handsfree Lighting

Flashlights are great, I’ve got a few good ones that have come in very handy in many situations, but sometimes you need your hands free and that’s where a decent headlamp style light comes into play.

Today for review I’ve got the Aennon Multi-Function LED Headlamp For Handsfree Lighting and it costs about $15 on Amazon right now. I’ve had other headlamps and I’ve used them for many projects but they weren’t the best and even though this one is inexpensive, it’s much nicer than the others I’ve owned. This headlamp features three levels of brightness with eight LEDs for up to 30 lumens of power but it also has a red LED which can be used in various situations where white just isn’t the best. Review of Fraser FS11 Digital Touchscreen Kitchen Scale

fraser9

So I’m going to be doing more reviews here, more home and family things as they don’t fit on my tech sites really, but I’m interested in them and I use them. My kids are also in scouting so I’m going to be doing outdoor related things too…

Up for review today I have a digital scale that features a touchscreen and is priced right now on Amazon for only $17 and I think it’s well worth it. I love to cook, I was a chef for many years so a scale come sin handy in the kitchen, but scales are just something that’s very useful to have around the house for other projects as well.

I mentioned scouting above, and they have the Pinewood Derby races where you have the make a race car out of a block of wood but there are weight limits and you just have to have an accurate scale for the weight or you could actually be disqualified from the races. So a scale is great to have for not only in the kitchen but around the house for various other things. Well that might need correcting, I should say ‘an accurate scale is great to have’, and the Fraser FS11 is very accurate from my testing of it.

"Up for review today I have a set of headphones from Arctic called the P402 which are what you might call a budget set of headphones as they are priced at about $15 on Amazon right now.  For that price you might not expect much honestly but I was  pleasantly surprised by these as they sound pretty good. The P402 headphones also have a microphone in-line so you can even make or receive phone calls while you’re using them with your phone. Read on to learn more… "

The iblazr has four LEDs in it and can be used as a regular flash or as a constant light source like if you’re taking a video where you might need that light. Read on… "

So I’m Windows 8, I’ve had it for a long time but finally installed it. Actually no, I had it installed for about a week and then uninstalled it, but I’m back to it and I still don’t like it as I really miss the sidebar gadgets and the real start menu. The tiles don’t work most of the time, they’re supposed to be live and updating but most of them don’t work right. I’ve been trying to find a weather tile that live updates and tried numerous ones and only found one that updates but it doesn’t have all the info I want like my gadget did on Win7. I wish there was a way to put the tiles on the desktop like gadgets, that would be nice. Anyway, read the news…
