TekMat AR-15 Bench Mat Deskpad Review

New review by me over on DragonSteelMods…

Quote: “The mousepad is one of the most important parts of your desktop setup I think, and I use a mousepad and a deskpad as I like having a soft surface under my keyboard area as I do spend hours at my desk and I just like to be comfortable. I do have two deskpads, well actually just one now, a Corepad and an Xtrac but they’re old and frayed and just in pretty bad shape so I tossed one out and I needed a new one so I went to Amazon searching for one. I was on Amazon and came across the regular black ones but what turned up in my search results was something a bit different called the TekMat and it’s sold as something for gun owners to use as a bench mat or work surface while cleaning or performing maintenance on your guns and AR 15 Accessories. These pads are really just mousepads but they have imprints on them of different guns and I grabbed the AR-15 version for myself, it’s a nice change from the plain black of the ‘real’ mousepads that are for sale these days.  Most deskpads sell for $35 and up but the Tekmat is only $25 and it’s virtually the same as those gaming deskpads but at a much lower price. The only real difference I can see is the size, the TekMat is only 12 inches tall while the other gaming deskpads are usually 17 inches tall or more, other than that it’s essentially the same. So read on for a unique deskpad that works great… “

Halite Video Purifier by Salt Labs Review

New review by me!!  This is one of those products that I can highly recommend.. it just makes such a difference really..

"Almost one year ago now I reviewed the DarbeeVision Darblet HDMI Video Processor and I thought it was a great device but one of my chief complaints was and still is that it’s rather ugly and apparently a company called Salt Labs agrees with me on this as they’ve sent me of the Halite Video Purifier based on the Darblet. The device is virtually the same as the Darblet but it just looks a whole lot better now. The Halite essentially reprocesses your video, any video, movies, games or TV and add further depth cues to it for enhanced depth and realism, and I found that it can make everything just look better overall. The Halite can improve video quality on lower resolution videos and one of the things I love about it is that it can bring things in the background more into focus. The Halite isn’t only for videos, but it does have a gaming mode so it can even enhance your gaming experience. Read on to learn more…"

It’s a new review by me!

"Up for review today I have the TouchTone Bluetooth speaker from Id America which features touch sensitive controls, hence the word touch in the name. The TouchTone is wireless over Bluetooth but it also has a line-in that uses a standard audio connector so you can even use it with non Bluetooth devices. The TouchTone can put out of total of four watts from the two speakers and that might not sound like much, but it is, this thing can get very loud but yet there’s very minimal distortion. Anyway, read on to learn more…"

"Today for review I have a product from Genius called the Energy Mouse and not only is it wireless but it has a built-in battery. Ok, so yes most any wireless mouse has a built-in battery but this one isn’t just for the mouse, it’s a power source that can be used to charge your smartphone. The battery inside of the Energy Mouse is 2700mAh in capacity and depending on the battery in your phone you could possibly get a couple charges out of it. "
